Move over QVC –ย Carnival Cruise Line has launched their ownย convenient new pay-over-time program toย permit guests to pay for their cruise in three “easy” monthly installments.

If you’ve ever shopped on QVC (okay I’ll admit I have!), you know how easy their payment plan is and it’s the same at Carnival. Guests’ cruise payments areย automatically deducted from their credit card on file (the one used for the deposit) and applied to their current balance. Carnival EasyPay is interest-free and extends over a three-month period.

How it works

You or yourย travel agent make the initial cruise deposit. The balance due on the cruise is charged in three equal installment payments. The payments are automatically deducted on the same day for three consecutive months. Guests can register for the program at carnival.com or call Carnival’s reservation line.

Travel agents are included

Travel agents can also sign up for Carnival EasyPay on Carnival’s agent-only website to process payments on behalf of their clients.

โ€œA Carnival cruise is already the most affordable and value-packed vacation there is and with Carnival EasyPay weโ€™re making budgeting and paying for a cruise even easier and more convenient,โ€ said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.

Theย required deposit must be made on your cruise fare to be eligible for Carnival EasyPay. The deposit due date must be at least 90 days before the final payment date. The first installment is charged 30 days from the date of your deposit with two additional monthly installments to follow. While Carnival EasyPay is available interest-free, you’re of courseย responsible for any interest charges by yourย credit card provider.

Once you decide on your cruise and booking online directly with Carnival, you’ll beย prompted to select Carnival EasyPay in the โ€œHow Would You Like to Payโ€ section of carnival.com.

You can also sign up for or cancel Carnival EasyPay after the initial deposit is made by visiting the โ€œManage My Bookingโ€ tab on carnival.com. In fact, at “Manage My Booking” you can also change the credit card on file or pay the entire balance at once but you cannot make intermittent smaller payments.
